- Desire intentional alignment between wealth, purpose, and family values
- Want to proactively prepare rising generations for stewardship and leadership
- Value structured communication and coordinated long-term planning

- Family Wealth is built for families who understand that preserving capital is important, but preserving clarity and continuity is essential.
How is Family Wealth Different from Traditional Financial Planning?
Traditional wealth management focuses primarily on investment performance and financial planning.
Family Wealth integrates investment strategy, tax coordination, estate alignment, and structured family communication into a unified process. The focus extends beyond portfolio outcomes to long-term family continuity.
Through NorthStar Purpose and Family Navigation, wealth strategy is anchored to purpose, guiding both financial decisions and generational preparation.
The result is not just managed assets, but aligned direction.
How are fees structured?
We charge a transparent asset-based fee on the investments we actively manage.
In addition, Family Navigation, our structured generational alignment process, is delivered through a clearly defined retainer. Engagements typically range from $25,000 to $100,000 depending on scope, complexity, and number of participating family members.
We are fee-only. We do not receive commissions or product-based compensation.
All fees are clearly outlined in advance.
What is the return on investment?
Family Wealth is designed to generate two forms of return.
Financial return includes coordinated investment oversight, tax-aware planning, estate strategy alignment, and capital preservation structured around long-term objectives.
Relational and generational return includes clarity of purpose, alignment between generations, intentional preparation of heirs, and reduced risk of fragmentation.
The enduring return is continuity, financial strength paired with family clarity.
Does everyone in the family need to participate?
No. Every family has its own dynamics, readiness, and timing.
We begin with the vision of Generation 1 and thoughtfully design a path for inclusion. Participation can expand over time as trust and clarity grow.
Our role is to provide structure and facilitate productive dialogue. Participation is invited, not required.
How long does the Family Navigation process take?
Family Navigation is customized based on your family’s complexity, number of participants, and desired outcomes. Because it is delivered through a defined engagement, we establish clear objectives, milestones, and an expected timeline at the outset.
NorthStar Purpose, which often serves as the foundation, is a focused process that typically unfolds over several weeks and is designed to bring clarity and alignment efficiently.
Family Wealth remains an ongoing advisory relationship. As families grow and transition, alignment continues to evolve over time.
Does Family Wealth coordinate with my CPA and estate attorney?
Yes.
We routinely coordinate with existing CPAs, estate attorneys, and other trusted advisors. Our role is not to replace your advisory network, but to bring integration and alignment across disciplines.
Complex wealth benefits from coordination.
